I decided years ago that I would say 'no' more than 'yes' to engagements. My husband and I created standards that we abide by…just like the Word of God; it's not enough to just know it but then scrap it when it's inconvenient or hard. It's the same way with my family. If I get a call from a great ministry for an amazing opportunity but it conflicts with family, then I say no. My children and husband will always know that they are chosen, they come first over anything else. They are a part of the vision.
